Since my Twitter updates can get -- um -- less than professional from time to time, I prefer not to stream the tweets to LinkedIn. I might feed my LinkedIn updates to Twitter though.

Whenever I have wanted to update LinkedIn and Twitter in the past, I have done it at Ping.fm -- in other words, Ping.fm posts are professional!

My opinion is that LinkedIn.com contacts have been much more professional than those comming from Facebook or MySpace (Unless you are a band). In the job search field, CraigsList.com is the defacto standard and still proves to be the killer app in many different areas. While NextEmployee.com provides the capability to proactively pre-record a Video Interview and send it to a recruiter or a company. So whatever your need, there is something out there that will help you accomplish the task.
